Cinevideo's recently commissioned Disc 2 is a double expanding outside broadcast truck, built to serve as a multiple record and replay, edit and graphics facility. It is currently assigned to cover the English Football Premiere League for Sky Sports.

The 'Disc Desk' can accommodate up to six operators, with a central co-ordinator's position. There are 62 Monitors in the main monitor stack, these are routed via an 80 x 64 router, which also controls the dynamic under monitor display system.

The Graphics Desk has 4 operating positions, each linked to an ORAD/SGI workstation.

The expanding side mechanism designed by Quicksilver and implemented by A. Smiths, Great Bentley allows for an unprecedented amount of space inside a fixed chassis vehicle. The 3.75m from the production area rear wall to the front of the main monitor stack give the Truck unusually large, uncluttered operational areas.

The rear of the truck contains the Edit and Engineering facilities. Space has been optimised by fitting a full five equipment racks across the width of the chassis. This has been achieved within the maximum legal width, by constructing the racks 'nut strip to nut strip' without intermediate section.
